The Two Left Roos project is an exploration I played with after realising I actually had bought a pair of two left shoes. I bought the shoes on ebay from a US seller back in the early 2000’s. When the shoes arrived I put them in storage straight away with the intention of pulling them out 20 years into the future.
During the 2020 lockdown I had time to clear out old storage. I couldn’t bloody believe what I saw when I opened the box - two immaculately stored left ROOS shoes.
The ridiculousness of the story, and the aim to place these mid-90s sneakers in their context, informed the art direction to honour these.

As of today, yes they’re still available for $25 + postage.
